Intellectual property is the lifeblood of modern economies. It allows us to read books and magazines, to enjoy films, TV programmes and music, to play games and to buy exciting new products. Technology makes the design, development, distribution and sales better and faster and gives consumers phenomenal choice. Through this value chain jobs are created, businesses start up and the wider economy benefits. The Alliance has been working for nearly 20 years to become the preeminent voice for IP and to support the promotion and protection of IP in the UK.
